How do consumers find us - where are they searching?
Instant Navigation delivers your web site to the consumer while they are searching either through the site they are searching on, or through a toolbar or desktop contextual software that aids them in their searches.
Consumers can be searching anywhere - on a search engine, on a content site, at an e-commerce site, anywhere. Consumers can even just type a keyword into the address bar of their browsers to initiate a search.

Who chooses the keywords and web pages to be shown?
You do. You can use the same keywords and landing pages you use for your existing search campaigns or you can pick new ones. You can make the association between the keyword and the landing page on your web site as narrow (better for conversion) or as broad (better for awareness) as you like. You can also change them at any time.

Do you take over the active browser window?
If the publisher (owner of the web site where the consumer was searching) chooses to display the advertiser's web site in the active browser window, then we will redirect the consumer from the publishers site to the advertiser's web site. If the publisher does not want to offer that option, then the advertiser's web site is displayed in a separate, fully active browser window. We do not condone publishers or affiliates taking over an active browser window without the publisher's consent.

Why am I sent to BrainFox to open an Instant Navigation account and manage my campaign? What is the connection between the two brands?
Instant Navigation and BrainFox are both owned by 360i and share some technology that allows advertisers to run two ad delivery methods (CPC and CPV) off of one keyword based campaign.
Advertisers sign up in BrainFox, load their campaigns into BrainFox, manage their campaigns and reporting through
BrainFox, and receive delivery through both the BrainFox Affiliate Network and the Instant Navigation Publisher Network.

Can I run only a CPV or CPC campaign or do I have to run both?
Every account can support both - giving you multiple ways to reach your audience. If you would like to only run one, then please
email us through the form at Contact Us and request to only receive delivery through Instant Navigation CPV or
BrainFox CPC. It may take about one week for implementation.

How much does CPV Cost?
In general, the price (bid) for CPV advertising should be less than what an advertiser would normally pay for CPC. This is because CPV is
considered a more general source of traffic than CPC (higher volume with a lower conversion rate). The minimum bid for CPV is $ 0.01.

How much should I bid in Instant Navigation?
The optimal bid amount depends on your goals (sales, awareness, traffic, etc) and the related measurements that indicate success (cost per sale, cost per acquisition, cost per visitor, CPM, etc). As long as your bid is greater than or equal to the minimum ($0.01), it is completely up to you. We encourage you to try different CPV bids and check your reports to see what works best for you.

What are your keyword and landing page recommendations?
- Bid on as many keywords as there are relevant to your web site. These can be broad, like "travel," or narrow, like "Aspen vacations." Broad words are more likely to get more views, so keep your goals in mind as you choose keywords. You can change your keyword list as often as you like and at any point in time.
- Remember to include singular and plurals in your keyword list, as well as any word relating to the product. For example: mortgage, mortgages, refinance, refinancing, home loan, home loans, new home loan, new home loans, fixed rate mortgage, fixed rate mortgages, etc.
- The landing page, or web site url associated with each keyword, should be as relevant to the keyword as possible. It should also take the consumer as close to the item/service that they were originally searching for (the keyword). Do your best not to take them to a page that will cause them to search again, even if it is on your web site. This may be more cumbersome when you initially set up the campaigns, but has proven to deliver higher success rates.
- Adult sites are allowed and we require only obviously adult-related keywords. The use of generic keywords may not be used for adult-related sites and could result in the reduction or shut down of your Instant Navigation delivery.
- Websites promoting the following are strictly prohibited: child pornography; obscenity; abuse of children, women and animals, hate or intolerance against any race/nationality, violence, criminal activity and other illegal activities.

Why do I seem to receive a lot of views around the same time of day?
The exposure of your web site, or number of views, is based on a few factors. Your CPV bid and your deposit are important factors. Another is the number of keywords in your campaign and the frequency that they are searched. We also cap the number of times a publisher can show your web site per day. So, if you have a high CPV bid, money in your account, and a lot of frequently searched keywords in your campaign, then you will most likely have your web site served ahead of other web sites in response to a keyword search query until the daily cap is fulfilled.

I've looked in my click logs, and see the domains search.brainfox.com and search.navisearch.com. What are these?
These are other domains owned by 360i that are related to Instant Navigation and other 360i search related properties. Views from Instant Navigation may have one of these as the referring url, or instantnavigation.com.

How many keywords can I bid on?
Our advertisers are not limited to the amount of keywords that they may use to promote their business, but the keywords should be relevant to the website. Without this relevancy, consumers will have a bad association with your web site and brand, and you will still pay for deliveries.
